Dr. Robert Gardiner is a Professor of Music at Lander University and leads the Lander University Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos. He also teaches saxophone lessons, brass & woodwind methods, jazz improvisation, and music education courses.
The Lander Jazz Ensemble is comprised of Lander students, both music majors and non-music majors, as well as community members.
They perform a free concert each semester in Lander University’s Josephine B. Abney Cultural Center Auditorium, located at 320 Stanley Avenue in Greenwood, South Carolina.
